Seems like a great product, love the versatility of being able to use the countertop material as well as the assisted open and closing mechanism
Sleek design and installation was easy. It is bigger than it looks length wise but overall it is pretty neat, sturdy and. Adds to the overall finish design of the kitchen and countertop
Very happy with our pop up charger fitted to our new quartz island, it really does look the business and works perfectly. Everybody who’s visited since our kitchen has been finished has commented on it .. with envy!

Great Product. Client loved it so much we put 3 in. Only downside to the Boardroom one is that it doesn't come in the black. Otherwise, great product.
I looked at many pop up power sockets but this one is simply a superior quality product. Very well made with a lovely smooth and silent movement.

I recently completed a full kitchen remodel and installed two 65W USB-C Point Pod Connect units in silver on our main island, positioned on either side of the sink. They have completely elevated the look and functionality of our new kitchen.
Design/Aesthetics:
The seamless integration into our quartz countertop is incredible. When retracted, the inner piece on top matches the rest of the island perfectly, leaving only a subtle, clean silver ring as the visual indicator. Guests are impressed by the "hidden" look and love watching the motorized mechanism pop up with a simple tap. It's superior to manual pop-up alternatives.
Performance:
The motor operates smoothly and relatively quietly to fully raise and lower the cylinders. While there is a tiny bit of wiggle when plugging things into the raised unit, it still feels solid and well-supported in the mounting flange. We've used them for everything from running a mixer and powering a laptop to fast-charging phones using the 65W USB-C ports.
Customer Service:
One of my units had a minor defect out of the box — the internal socket flexed inward when plugging in appliances, rather than staying rigid. I contacted customer support via email and they responded right away. They promptly shipped a new replacement unit at zero cost to me and provided a pre-paid return for the defective one. The replacement arrived in just a few days and works perfectly.
Verdict:
Exceptional product quality with customer service to match. If you're building or renovating a kitchen and want high-speed charging and power without cluttering your countertops, I highly recommend the Point Pod Connect.
Nice products with good quality and price
The product appears fairly well built, however one of retainer rings was broken when first operated. Most disappointing was the service. Both of my units are mounted where the top cup is not flush with the counter top. I have contacted the company on several occassions it was supposed to be escalated to a manager to call and help resolve the problem. Unfortunately, this did not happen, rather just a lower level employee who has just sent me videos that are not relevant or do not help solve the problem. I am a bit disappointed. I spent about $1200 on these units and put two holes in a very expensive granite slab and the units are still not flush with the slab. If the units were flush, my review would be completely different.
Hi Mike, thank you for your detailed feedback. I'm very sorry that your concerns were not escalated as promised. Issues like this would usually be referred to a manager (myself), and I'll investigate why that didn’t happen in your case.
Regarding the units not sitting flush, I’ll send you an email now so we can work through this and try to resolve it. From the photo, my initial thought is that the underside mounting ring may need to be loosened, allowing the product to be repositioned correctly in the hole before the ring is retightened.
Very happy with our pop-up - looks sleek, works well, and the wireless phone charge capability is like an added bonus
Not yet been able to install as waiting for house to be built in next 2 months, but from the pre-testing done, seems to be good quality. Would be nice if had more exterior and interior colour combinations of the device and possibly a more vibrant lighting on top but otherwise seems well built.
