The only concern I have is the aluminum collar that fits into the countertop isn't long enough to extend below the plywood to permit exact placement of the unit relative to the hole in the countertop.

Expensive but looks beautiful and works great.. so much nicer than having a super visible pop-up outlet top. Can’t speak to longevity as it’s only been installed a few days.
I purchased the V3C socket a couple of months in advance from having my kitchen fitted. Once the worktops had been secured I installed the socket and noticed that the pop up motor had a defect.
I raised an issue with customer service and within a few days a new unit was shipped without any issues. Less than a week it took for the new item to be shipped. I have just installed and works/looks great.

I received the item on a Sunday, and after unboxing I was disappointed to see that the black colorway was sent, although the box and invoice was clearly labeled silver. So I emailed customer service. Purchased 3 Pop Up Outlets to use under our newly built backyard pavillion .They are sleek looking and provide the use we needed for our beverage bar, kitchen area and large conversational island . Great for charging phones ! So many compliments!
Haven’t installed yet, but did plug in and tried it.
