No electrical work needed. It plugs into a power point under the bench.

Step 1: Cut a 65 mm hole in the benchtop. The 1:1 template marks the centre.

Hole size
The body has to fit through the hole, and the flange has to sit on the benchtop around it.
Under 65 mm
Too tight. The 64 mm threaded body won’t go through.

Questions and answers
Do I need an electrician?
No electrical work is needed to install the V3L. It has a 1.8 m lead with a fitted AU plug, so it plugs into a power point below the benchtop. If there's no power point there, have a licensed electrician add one.
What size hole do I need?
65 mm. You can go up to 70 mm, but not smaller than 65 mm, because the threaded body is 64 mm across. The benchtop can be up to 90 mm thick. Allow 560 mm of clear space below the top of the bench, plus room for the lead and plug. The 1:1 cut-out template marks the centre.
How tall is it when raised?
It rises 185 mm above the benchtop, and the lid is 80 mm across. When it's lowered, only the lid shows, sitting 6 mm above the benchtop.
How do I raise and lower it?
Double-tap the button on the lid with your finger, then wait about a second. The double tap stops it opening or closing by accident when you put your phone on the lid to charge.
Which charging ports are included?
Two USB-C ports, one USB-A port and a Qi wireless charging lid. Either USB-C port gives up to 30 W and the USB-A port up to 18 W; when several ports are used at once, they share 15 W. Wireless charging is up to 10 W.
Is the V3L waterproof?
No. It's rated IP20 for dry, indoor locations. The overlapping lid helps resist accidental splashes only when fully closed, so keep the unit and its connections dry when raised.
Should I choose the V3L or the V3C?
The V3L fits a smaller 65 mm hole and has two faster USB-C ports (up to 30 W). The V3C needs a 95 mm hole and has one USB-C port (up to 15 W). Both are motorised and have wireless charging.
How do I make a warranty claim?
Submit a support request. We keep records matched to product serial numbers, so you don't need your receipt. If something goes wrong after the warranty ends, we offer an affordable repair or replacement service.
