Point Pod is installed underneath your stone or timber bench top. The product uses an electric lift, so you simply press the top of the unit, and it automatically emerges for use on the bench top.
The product is customisable to suit your needs. It can be orientated any way, plus it can be installed into different thicknesses of bench tops, while we offer two standard product types – Point Pod Multi and Point Pod Compact – the socket configuration can be changed to suit your needs. Custom colours are also available to replace the standard rim.
The units are designed so they can be easily replaced should they reach the end of their lifespan or need to be replaced under warranty.
Point Pod units have a 2yr Australian parts and labour warranty.

Q. Is this model spring-loaded? Does it automatically come up?A. This model is motorized. The built-in electric motor allows the unit to raise and lower automatically by pressing the button on the lid.
Q. What happens if I have an issue with my product after the warranty period?
A. We’ve designed and tested these units for use over many years withstanding in a normal environment. If your product does develop an issue outside of the warranty period, we do provide an affordable repair or replacement service.
Q. Do you provide an after sales-service, and how do I contact you?
A. Yes, we provide an after-sales service. You can contact us via phone – through our ‘request a call back’ feature, where you give us your name and phone number, and we ring you back as soon as possible.
Q. Do I need a licensed electrician to install this product?
A. No, no electrical work is needed to install this product. We have designed the unit with a standard AU-fitted plug, allowing you to plug the unit into any other power outlet – below your installation surface.
Q. What is the process in making a warranty claim if I have an issue with my product?
A. If your product malfunctions within the warranty period, we will repair or replace it free of charge. We keep digital records matched with product serial numbers for every order, so you do not need to worry about keeping your receipt.

Does it come with a finished top?
No. The top cup is supplied empty and is designed for a matching 93mm piece of the countertop or benchtop. Finished inserts may be available separately by email request at additional cost.
Can it extend in different directions?
Yes. It may extend upward, downward or sideways, provided every receptacle face remains vertical and never faces upward.
How should the opening be cut?
Plan the 102mm opening and 93mm insert together. When using a hole saw, make a trial cut in matching off-cut material before cutting the finished surface.
Does it require hardwiring?
The fitted AU plug does not require hardwiring for normal installation. Use a licensed electrician for any electrical alteration.
