Power and USB

Gasketed closed lid
The closed lid includes a sealing gasket. No IP rating is published; the product is not waterproof or suitable for outdoor use.
Installation planning

80mm opening
Plan an 80mm opening with a +/- 3mm tolerance.
280mm below-surface space
Allow 280mm below the top surface for the unit, with additional room for the lead and plug.
Fitted AU plug
Supplied with a 1.8m lead and fitted AU plug for connection below the benchtop.

Frequently asked questions
Is the V5WUB waterproof?
No. The closed lid includes a sealing gasket, but no IP rating is published. Keep the unit and all connections dry, especially when raised.
What opening is required?
Plan an 80mm opening with a +/- 3mm tolerance and confirm the current technical sheet before cutting.
Does it need hardwiring?
No hardwiring is required for normal installation because the unit has a fitted AU plug. Use a licensed electrician for any electrical alteration.
